3 YEAR OLD KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM

What we focus on

We provide a safe and supportive environment that empowers children to learn and grow in their own time and their own way.

We foster growth, development and learning in 3 year old kindergarten by:

  • Building secure attachments with familiar and consistent educators who are interested, invested and care deeply

  • Using play to investigate, imagine and explore ideas

  • Creating a community where children are encourage to learn with and alongside others

3 year old kindergarten can be a child's first experience in being separated from mum, dad and other primary care-givers.  It is also often the first time children are learning how to play with other children, handle play negotiations and social interactions.  Given this, we strive to create a very nurtuing and supportive environment in which children can thrive socially and emotionally, alongside learning and developing new skills.

My eldest still cherishes her time at kinder...that’s why choosing the kinder again was a ‘no-brainer’!

Fees & Funding

3 and 4 Year Old Kindergarten are fully funded by the Victorian Government, meaning there are no fees for your child’s kindergarten place.

Our Combined Program

Our 3 Year Old Kindergarten program runs alongside our 4 Year Old Kindergarten program, allowing children to learn and play together in a supportive, mixed-age environment.

The program is led by three experienced educators: a highly experienced Bachelor-qualified Kindergarten Teacher and two Diploma-qualified Educators.

The Benefits of Learning Together

Our combined 3 and 4 year old program provides many benefits for children:

  • Strong relationships: Children build lasting relationships with the same educators across their two years of kindergarten.

  • Individualised learning: Educators develop a deep understanding of each child, allowing them to support their individual interests, strengths and learning needs.

  • Learning from each other: Younger children benefit from the experiences and leadership of older children, while 4 year olds develop confidence, responsibility and leadership skills.

  • Rich social learning: Mixed-age play supports communication, social skills, language development and collaboration.

  • More educator support: Three educators within the learning environment provide greater opportunities for individual attention, guidance and meaningful interactions.

  • Indoor and outdoor learning: Our indoor/outdoor program gives children the freedom to explore, engage in active play, or enjoy quiet, self-directed experiences at their own pace.

Jake is thriving! Your encouragement, enthusiasm, and the attention you give to each and every child, needs to be commended. Since Jake commenced the 4 year old program in 2017, you have both demonstrated nothing but care and understanding to my eldest son, and our family. Your commitment to the children and their parents is gratifying and reassuring, and I am extremely grateful for your dedication to my son’s development and his immense enjoyment at kinder. He looks forward to each and every session!
— Lauren
This kinder has been very beneficial in the early learning stages to prepare for school.
I’ve been impressed knowing the teachers understand my children’s different characters and how they think, act, play and learn.
